CentrePort Wellington achieved a significant milestone this week, for the first time handling 100,000 TEU’s (twenty foot equivalent) containers within a year.

Following an eventful journey up the South Island from Dunedin, including a couple of unscheduled stops due to adverse weather, the Russian built Kamov Helicopter KA32 - HL9470 arrived at CentrePort on Monday 18 April and landed spectacularly in 40 knot gale southerlies that were buffeting the country.
