Pre-Notification of Entry for Vehicles and Rail

Any operator, including rail, wishing to transit or enter the International Port at any security level or the Domestic Port at security level 2 or 3, is advised to notify the Port Security Centre prior to arrival at the port by completing Form BB. This will expedite the checking and validation process and prevent unnecessary delays.

In all cases the receipt of the pre-notification form does not mean an automatic approval for entry to the port will be granted. Approval is granted by the Port Facility Security Officer.

Pre-Notification of Arrival for All Ships

All ships are required to notify the Port Security Centre of the following details prior to arrival by completing Form AA. The vessel's security officer, contact details, crew and crew movements, expected stores, visitors, and any crew changes. Crew members are required to carry a photographic ID card, which will be verified against the supplied crew list.

On arrival, the Port Security Facility Officer will complete Form CC. This checklist may be completed prior to arrival by fax or email.
